Piling operations continue on Wilshire between Crescent and El Camino. K-rail barriers are in place 24 hours a day and Wilshire has been reduced to two lanes in each direction. Pile installation on the north side of Wilshire is expected to continue through April, then move to the south side of Wilshire through July. Work hours for piling are daily from 8 am to 9 pm, with non-drilling activities from 9 pm to 11 pm. For more details, please see Metro's latest construction notice.

Geotechnical instrumentation being installed in Beverly Hills.

Geotechnical instruments are being installed within the station box and along the tunnel alignment to monitor ground movement, settlement, and other geological conditions. Upcoming areas include Wilshire, Young, Lasky, Charleville, Spalding, and Moreno. This work will include intermittent closures of traffic lanes, sidewalks, crosswalks, and parking meters. Work hours will be weekdays from 7 am to 4 pm, though installations on S. Moreno may need to be completed on weekends from 8 am to 7 pm.

Restoration of Clifton and Crescent intersection to begin this month.

Starting April 6, the contractor will return to the Clifton and Crescent intersection to reconstruct the sidewalks and ADA ramps at each corner. The temporary traffic signal poles will also be replaced with permanent poles next month. This work will require impacts to traffic lanes, sidewalks, crosswalks, and parking meters near the intersection. Work hours will be weekdays from 7 am to 4 pm and weekends from 8 am to 6 pm when necessary. This work is expected to last about four weeks.
